What happens when my plan's monthly units are used up?

Requests answer HTTP 429 with code -32007 and three options: buy a prepaid pack, upgrade to Scale or Growth, or pay as you go. Nothing is charged unless you switched it on in your console, and never beyond the limit you set. No surprise overage, ever.

Can an AI agent use FlexYield without a human creating an account?

Yes. POST https://flexyield.io/keys (or the MCP tool get_key) issues a capability key with no signup: public supply, 10,000 weighted units per day. The agent can bind the key to a wallet by signature for a persistent identity, pay per call with USDC over x402, or hand its owner a claim code so the key inherits the owner's plan.

How is usage counted?

In weighted units: a standard call counts 1, a heavy call (traces, wide log ranges) 2, a data-API call 10, a toolbox call 1, and a cache hit 0. Rate limits and monthly quotas are stated per plan.

Do prices include VAT?

Prices are net. VAT is added where it applies: at checkout by your country and VAT ID for card payments, and in the x402 menu by the payer's location for per-call payments in USDC.

Is per call cheaper than a subscription?

Only at very low volume. Price per unit falls with commitment: per call is the uncommitted lane at $9 per million standard units, packs are cheaper per unit, subscriptions cheaper still. The calculator at https://flexyield.io/pricing/calculator prices your own volume on every lane.
